The ANPA Winter Coding Camp 2024, running from December 21, 2024 to January 11, 2025 provides a valuable opportunity for individuals in both the United States and Nepal to enhance their Python programming skills. This camp is open not only to ANPA members but also to anyone interested in learning coding, promoting accessibility and skill-building for a diverse audience. The program is led by Dr. Ganga P. Sharma, an Executive Member of ANPA, with Drs. Suraj Poudel and Purna Poudel volunteered as instructors. The curriculum spans from basic Python programming to advanced techniques in data analysis, visualization, and effective project implementation and communication using python.
With over 36 participants, the camp is running with great enthusiasm and is helping individuals gain practical skills for real-world applications. ANPA believes that such initiatives will enable participants to stay updated with emerging technologies, including artificial intelligence, and adapt to the rapidly evolving tech landscape. The Winter Coding Camp is an annual event organized by ANPA in addition to a Junior Coding Camp which will be held in the coming summer to inspire and equip younger generations with coding skills for future careers in technology. Through these programs, ANPA aims to foster a community of tech-savvy individuals prepared to face the challenges of the digital age. ANPA believes in the power of community service to expand and enhance scientific and programming knowledge, with the ultimate goal of benefiting society and contributing to its advancement.
