Overview

The Winter Workshop, organized annually by ANPA Physics Professionals, is a premier event dedicated to professional development in physics. Bringing together experts from academia and industry, the two-day program usually takes place on Saturday and Sunday during the Christmas break, ensuring accessibility for both sectors. The workshop provides a dynamic platform for knowledge exchange, networking, and skill enhancement, focusing on emerging trends in physics research, technological advancements, and career growth opportunities. Through expert-led sessions, panel discussions, and hands-on workshops, participants gain valuable insights to advance their professional journey in physics.

2025 Workshop focuses on two sessions:

1. Generative AI for professional development.

The professional world is undergoing a seismic shift with the advancement to competitive generative AI models and Agentic AI. Are you prepared to lead the change or risk being left behind? For those ready to seize the advantage, AI is the single most powerful tool for supercharging your career trajectory. 2. Opportunities and Hurdles in Returning to Nepal.

 A large number of students from Nepal pursue higher education abroad each year. While many choose to establish their careers overseas, some return home to contribute their knowledge and expertise to Nepal’s development. In this session, we invite professionals who have returned after completing their studies abroad to share their experiences, challenges, and insights on transitioning back to their homeland and making an impact through their work.
